Angel Hotel Abergavenny : Rhiann & Grant Wedding

Rhiann & Grant's wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Angel Hotel, Abergavveny, South Wales.

The beautifully refurbished Angel Hotel was established in 1829 as a Posting Inn and was named AA Hotel of The Year, Wales 2016/17.

After the ceremony we ventured into the adjacent castle grounds for a few informal photos.

Some amazing music was performed prior and during the ceremony by harpist Ruth Elen Hicks and the Ebbw Vale Male Choir. In the evening reception the fantastic 'Scarletons' provided a great selection of soul, motown and dance music .

Nash Point Lighthouse Wedding | Lisa & Carl

Lisa and Carl travelled from Sussex for their intimate wedding at Nash Point Lighthouse in Monknash near Cardiff.

wedding nash point lighthouse

The Lighthouse at Nash Point is an iconic 19th century, grade 2 listed, historic building and is the only functioning lighthouse in the UK that is licensed to offer wedding ceremonies. It is a major part of our countries social and maritime history and was the last manned lighthouse in Wales.

Although the morning was bathed in beautiful sunshine the weather gods soon turned against us with coastal drizzle and mist being present for most of the afternoon.

Following the wedding ceremony we managed to take advantage of a break in the weather and strolled down to Monknash beach, accompanied by Edison - Lisa and Carl's beautiful English sheepdog.

The evening reception followed at the amazing Pickled Radish in Bridgend, South Wales.

Eve & Lee | Quantock Lakes

Eve and Lee were married at Quantock Lakes near Bridgwater, Somerset in January 2017.

The ceremony took place in the cosy rustic barn with the wedding reception following in the adjacent Quantock barn.

The weather was pretty cold and blustery, with a storm brewing just as we ventured outside to capture a selection of informal images.

The evening's entertainment was provided by 'The Mod Cons' - a great band from the Midlands who played a selection of hits from the 1960's.

Annabel and Jamie held their wedding ceremony at St Mary's Church in Barry, South Wales in late November 2016. The wedding reception followed at the beautiful Hensol Castle situated in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Although somewhat chilly the weather was fine all day - very unusual for a winter wedding in South Wales !

Wedding at Llanerch Vineyard | Michelle & Gareth

Michelle and Gareth were married at Llanerch Vineyard in the Vale of Glamorgan in September 2016. Llanerch Vineyard is a boutique style wedding venue located just 20 minutes from Cardiff in South Wales.

The weather was great all day - one of the few weddings I've covered this year where the sun shone from early morning until dusk.
